Sow feed trough: length and width of 60 cm * 40 cm, height 8 cm, made of cement mortar. The side of the feeding trough facing the outer chamber should be smeared with a 45 degree bevel to clean up the excess food.
Piglet lure trough: 36 cm high, 143 cm long, divided into 6 grids, 16 cm per grid, 36 cm high, straight into a standard brick half-wall 70 cm from the ground, and smoothed with cement mortar . In this way, piglets are not eaten by the sows when they are given 8-10 days of feeding.
3. Outer nest design
The outer chamber is actually a playground for wild boars to drink, exercise and sun. The outer chamber is 4 meters long and 3.3 meters wide. The three sides are made of cement bricks to form a 1.2-meter-high wall, and the 80-cm door is widened. A 10 mm diameter steel gate is installed. At the same time, it is required to build a drinking water pool in a drainage floor and use cement mortar to clean it. The drinking pool is 1 meter long, 0.4 meters wide and 0.22 meters deep. The pool can't be built too narrow, otherwise it is very important that the summer “wild pig” squats in the pool and causes the pregnant sow to die.
4. Add channel
Wild boars are more agile than domestic boars. In order to facilitate breeding, a 1 m high wall must be built 1.2-1.5 m away from the outer chamber to form a passage. When breeding, the boar can smoothly enter the enclosure of any estrus sow through the passage, complete the breeding task, and then return to the original nest through the wall passage.
